“Life is great man! I've lost 3 inches since the start of your "Boot Camp." I'm down to the last notch on my belt, and can now easily button three shirts that were tight on me 7 weeks ago. I had a brand new shirt that I bought in 2005 in LA that I had not been able to button. Guess what? I can now button it. It's a little tight, but I can button it baby! Since I've returned, I've continued working out at least 3-4 days a week. I wear the Kutting Weight suit during all my workouts, whether outside at the park or at the gym. In fact last week when I went back to my Cardio Ab class at the gym, several of the ladies in class asked me about the suit. Where did I buy it? How much was it? How does it feel? What does it do?
My goal is to lose an additional 3 inches and get down to a 36" waist. As an incentive, I am going to buy a pair of pants with a 36" waist and I'm giving myself six weeks to be able to wear them. Your "Boot Camp" gave me the determination and discipline to make exercise a part of my daily life in some form or fashion. I'll be back in L.A. April 22-25 to shoot a "short" film. “I love that the Kutting Weight class is offered three different times during the day. It makes it so easy for people to fit it into their schedules. The 8:30 a.m. class is a perfect time for me because it isn't too early, but I am still able to get an awesome workout in before the day starts.
The location for the class is awesome! Of course, I'm partial because I live about 3 blocks away. :) But aside from proximity, the park itself is a wonderful place to work out. It has lots of green grass and pretty trees, and a perfect 1/2 mile running path. So much better than being cooped up in the gym!
Dustin is a fabulous trainer. He puts thought into the exercise routines so that we're doing something different every class. This keeps the class fun and challenging. He motivates me to challenge myself and gives positive support and feedback to everyone in the class.
The boot camp class is fun and challenging. I haven't worked out so hard in years, but I had a blast doing it, and I always looked forward to going to class. Because the exercises and routines were always varied, I always enjoyed them. I never felt bored of doing the same old thing, which is exactly what I do when I go to the gym! Not only is the boot camp an invigorating and motivating way to work out, it's also a fun way to meet new people. I connected with several people in class that I still keep in touch with.
The Kutting Weight suit is awesome. It warms you up and really gets you sweating. It's comfortable and easy to wear underneath clothes, so I always forget I have it on!
I was kind of nervous to start the boot camp class because I had been REALLY lazy for a several months, so I wasn't sure how I'd handle a really intense class. When I got there, though, Dustin made me realize that I just had to do what I could but be sure to push myself. He also reassured me that I would improve over the course of the 5 weeks, which I did! I improved my mile run by over one minute, and I can do a lot more pushups and squats than I could at the beginning of the class. Needless to say, I made it the whole five weeks and had a blast the entire time!”

Setting an intention to workout with Dustin three times a week at 6:30 am not only re-set my internal energy alarm, but it re-set my devotion to myself. You and your trainers are amazingly well versed in all areas of fitness that I had no choice but to step up my own fitness goals. I especially loved working out in an outdoor setting with the smell of fresh grass and watching the sun come up, as opposed to going to an over crowed gym where the experience can less than pleasant.
Your boot camp is both challenging and fun. I remember the first day you instructed us to play tag, I instantly had a feeling that this was one of those Hollywood scams (since I couldn’t imagine what tag had to do with boot camp) yet it was evident by the muscle exertion and the elevation of my heart rate (while in the game) that in the next five weeks I was going to be waking up muscles that I had not used since I was a kid…including facial muscles from the laughter and screaming at being chased and chasing each other. I also benefited from wearing the KW suit because it kept/keeps me warm, (where otherwise it would be too cold and I would find an excuse to not show up) and I could feel myself literally shedding off pounds while working out.
Now, having completed boot camp I cannot taper the energy and excitement I feel every morning to get up and give to myself the gift of staying in shape. As a result, I no longer walk around fatigue, I’m excited about my day, I sleep like a baby at night, and (most importantly) I look great! You’ve empowered and taught me about exercise and I now can look forward to a lifetime of great physical health! Thank you.”

“Dustin made me feel welcomed and was very personable and professional. He encouraged me to push myself beyond my usual stopping points when I work out on my own. The Kutting Weight Boot Camp is intense! Dustin pushes you to your max but also tailors workouts for people of different skill levels so no one ever feels like they can't do an exercise. I learned a lot of great fitness tips over the course of the class and realized that you don’t need a gym to stay in shape! The park where we worked out was great, never too busy and easy to get to. You can either work out in the morning or evening, which makes fitting in exercise with your job much easier.
The thing I was most proud of accomplishing during my 5 weeks was running a mile in under 8 minutes, I hadn't done that since highschool. Thanks to Dustin and the Kutting Weight boot camp I have the tools to stay fit and have fun doing it!”

“When I came to Kutting Weight, of course I wanted to slim down but I also needed to be motivated to exercise. The Kutting Weight boot camp did just that. The times are very convenient and the location is easy to find. It is a safe and great location with many people around exercising as well. Dustin and Cazzy are great! Both are very helpful and knowledgeable. They allow you to work at your own pace but push you at the same time. The suit is surprisingly very easy and comfortable to work out in. It doesn't restrict you at all and it keeps you nice and sweaty inside. Overall the entire boot camp experience is fun! Dustin records your numbers and times, which motivates you even more to work harder. I can't believe how much I have improved. Exercise became easier the more I stuck to it. “My name is Janet Miller and I am a theatre director/choreographer. I just finished my first session of Kutting Weight Boot Camp on 3/27/2009. Notice I said first, as I am starting again 4/6/2009! Can’t wait! I participated at the Sherman Oaks location, 6:30 AM MWF. This works well for me as I live in Sherman Oaks and I find it an excellent way to kick start the day. Sure, it’s hard to get out of bed at first, but the benefits outweigh the sleepiness. And after an hour of exercise, you are raring to go. The workout gives you focus for the entire day. Our trainer, Dustin Zahursky, is the Go To Guy for all things fitness. He is always helpful and cheery and gives everyone positive reinforcement. Since I am in the older age bracket, it is important to me to have a trainer that understands that I have certain limitations. Dustin is supportive and encouraging, and always challenges us to do our personal best, but there is no competition. I really like that. The Boot Camp is difficult, I won’t lie, but when you are fully present, working hard with your group, there is a feeling of community because everyone is applauding your efforts. We are all in it together. Dustin changes up the exercises on a daily basis, and keeps things lively and fresh. The time literally zips by. All in all it is, a most worthwhile experience. As part of the Boot Camp, I purchased a Kutting Weight suit. This suit is an awesome invention. It makes you definitely sweat, but what I appreciate most about the suit is the fact that it keeps your core warm, and it holds you all together. It adds just that little bit of support you need to help you through the exercises. Doing a program like this is somewhat bittersweet. I used to be quite sporty when I was younger, so trying to get back into shape is discouraging at times. I certainly am not there yet, but I feel so much better, and have a ton more energy. “Overall the class was effective, after five weeks of the class I could see and feel a difference. My stomach was a little flatter and I was able to run the laps without having to take a walk break to catch my breath. By the end of the five weeks I was able to complete two laps nonstop and still have energy left over to hop the curb for a few minutes. “Dustin is very motivating and pushes each of us to go beyond our own expectations. Working out with others, is also fun as we all motivate each other, which makes it intense but enjoyable! The outdoor setting is also ideal, 'cause working out for me has always entailed, a stuffy smelly gym, but working out outdoors provides a unique workout experience. The suit always made me sweat which I never really have done, no matter how hard I pushed myself. Keeping track of ones records, and working to beat your own record is the most motivating part of boot camp. Doing so actually allows you to really see your progress. “Dustin's class rocks! I learned all these exercises that you can do with these rubber bands. The rubber bands really kicked my ass so I bought a red one and a green one (entry level colors) to do the exercises on my own when I'm traveling. They're light and portable and much more convenient than weights. Since we partner up for a lot of the exercises, I made a new best friend. I'm down to a 0 on the bottom from a 2 and I lost 2% body fat in 5 weeks! There's no way I would have had the motivation to do all those crunches, push-ups and other exercises on my own without Dustin and the support of everyone in class. The Kutting Weight suit made me sweat buckets! When I took off the suit, my underwear was drenched in sweat. I work out with it before auditions where I'm expected to be a petite Asian girl.”

“I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be part of a Kutting Weight Boot Camp. Even though many of us in the class were at different levels, there is something about a group effort that cannot be devalued when it comes to an exercise routine. Just being part of a group alone already allows for a level of accountability that helps keep you going when you wouldn't feel like it yourself. I KNOW that I would NOT have had the discipline or dedication by myself to do many of the things we did. On my own, I would have stopped short or would have allowed other things to be a priority, which so many do in this culture. That is why a set schedule and commitment to doing a boot camp class is so ideal. It forces you to make it a priority and see results quicker. I would highly encourage anyone who is considering starting an exercise routine or joining a gym to do this instead! It is a much better investment. How many of us just join a gym but without the accountability and encouragement, we don't even see as much results over an even longer period of time? With the Kutting Weight Boot Camp, I was able to do exercises I would never have done on my own, or even thought of. So every muscle group was worked. I am not the most athletic naturally, but with this class, I was finding myself doing things I didn't think I could do, or would take long, slow years to accomplish. Because of this, I feel stronger as a person. After just 2 weeks, I felt so much more limber, like how I was in high school as a cheerleader and dancer. Each class was just enough to grow the muscles a bit. Eventually, I felt muscle growth on the outside of my arms and have been forcing my friends to feel it since! The chair masseuse at my local health food store thought I looked stronger, and some of my friends have commented as well, especially when I wore a tank top. My arms, shoulders, and back appear to be more fit and muscular, and my bottom is a bit firmer too!
With this class, I appreciate how it allows for variations in fitness levels, and I was able to be very challenged yet still maintain a pace that was good for me, as others did as well.

Dustin Zahursky is awesome. His dedication to fitness is inspirational and his desire to see others fit is encouraging. I am thankful to have had the privilege to work with such a great trainer and athlete. What I love about Dustin is that you can count on him. Just getting to class when your body doesn't feel like exercising is always the hardest part. I would encourage everyone to just fight through that with a solid decision and commitment. Once there, Dustin has everything planned out for you - exercises, bands, stopwatch and all. He is a solid guy - organized, professional, dependable, and disciplined. He was always on time and ready to go with a plan, rain or shine. And for our class during the winter season, there was a lot of rain and things that could have stopped him and added difficulty, but it didn’t.
During the class, Dustin would simply encourage us along, but never make one feel like they are lesser or incapable, which I was really thankful for. This is what many would look for in a trainer. Like others, I prefer not to have a demeaning drill sergeant and I would want people who are considering this class for the first time to rest assured that the training style is not like that . Dustin has a strong way of being that allows you to feel determined yet encourages you when he sees you wanting to let go of your pace. Cazzy too, when she taught, had a gracious way of encouraging yet challenging at the same time, and was great to follow.
I love how each workout is different and creatively designed for us. With Dustin, each day was different and you didn't know what to expect, which is probably good for those that would let fear of a tough workout scare them into not coming! I learned that all you have to do is show up, let Dustin lead and do the thinking for you, and just focus on making your body follow. Just do the best you can at your own best pace... and after an hour with Dustin, you will have such a sense of accomplishment, even if you didn't feel like you would work out on your own that day. That's the great thing about these workouts - they are already planned and thought-through for you - you just show up! My favorite exercise was the one where we worked on our balance and had to lean down and touch our toes with one foot off the ground. I thought that was a really important one and had never done anything like that before. We once did a whole workout utilizing the bleachers and fence. I thought that was really cool and creative. Though I'm not a runner/jogger or push-upper by nature, I am glad we focused on these exercises, as I want to grow in these areas and definitely have... decreasing my mile time by 2 minutes and increasing the amount of push ups and sit ups repeated by 9 and 7. And I had a blast playing football! I remember after that workout I had so much fun and felt so energized that I met up with a friend after and exercised some more, playing basketball. And before we started our Kutting Weight work out, I didn't feel energized at all. So thank you, Dustin!
Kutting Weight Suit: This is a brilliant invention. I don't necessarily sweat a lot, but as long as I wore it during a workout, I was able to break a good sweat each time, and as we all know, sweating is a very good thing. It also helped to have the Suit on during the cold nights since it kept in warmth even if we hadn't warmed up yet. It's sleekness allowed for a very comfortable movement while jogging. I love that the Kutting Weight Suit is easy to maintain, and I just rinsed it off after each workout and let it air dry.

“The Kutting Weight Boot Camp is possibly my favorite workout experience yet! I've tried gyms, personal trainers, buddy runs and videos... I have never gotten the results I got, so quickly, as I got doing the Kutting Weight program. In five weeks, I lost approximately 5lbd but wait, that's no victory... I lost 7 inches in my waist alone!! I lost 3 inches in my bust and 2 inches in my buttock!! The Kutting Weight Neoprene Sauna Suit is amazing!! I feel like I'm getting a workout right away when I wear it during a workout. It is comfortable and it's, I think, what had the inches shed so quickly.
What I loved the most about the workout routines is that they were out door exercises. I didn't need any machines, weights or fancy equipment to get a great and effective workout. We used bands and nature. We did a lot of core work, (abs, crunches, flutter kicks or scissor kicks) upper body strengthening, (push ups, curls, punches and variations with the bands) and lower body (squats, lunges and a creative variation of kicks/ leg work using the bands). I actually wanted to push myself and was able to push further than I thought myself capable of. The trainers are great! Dustin is very clear in his directions; a great motivator, easy to work with and I feel he gave 100%. Cazzy is adorable and really great with people, it was great to have her around when she came around.
The times worked perfectly with my schedule and actually gave me more time throughout my day to get things done. I got used to waking up early and having gotten a good workout before I went to school or work, really just made my days go a lot more smoothly and with much more energy. I have recommended this class to all of my friends, as I haven't felt this great ever!! Thank you Kutting Weight!!”

“I wanted to thank you again for your generosity and dedication to the 5 week boot camp. It was fantastic!!!! It was an amazing workout and I definitely got results from wearing the Kutting Weight suit in combination with the different workouts each day. My goal is to drop 40 lbs. “Class is so much fun! I looked forward to classes because no day is ever the same, which kept things exciting and spontaneous. The classmates were super supportive of each other and having the music playing really helped keep me going. Class time seemed to fly by you get so focused and invested in the moment that you don't realize that an hour has already gone by!
.I enjoyed being outdoors. I think we are all so used to clocking time in at the gym, like a job, that you become dependent on machines and forget that there are other options; like being outside using your own body’s weight with resistance bands and playing games like we did as kids. That is one thing unique about Kutting Weight- We played games, Tag and touch football. When do we actually allow ourselves to do that anymore?! You leave the workout not only exhausted but also feeling like a kid. For that, I am grateful and would continue to do the camp:)
As a trainer, Dustin has it down- he knows his stuff and knows how to keep you working- he makes it hard for you to cheat because your competing against your records and timing and not anyone else.
I never knew there were so many different exercises and variations! I felt challenged every day and I found muscles popping up that I didn't even know I had. My back and arms look great by the way;) Honestly, I can't imagine working out WITHOUT the Kutting Weight suit anymore. I love it. It’s Easy to clean, I just take it off in the shower and hang it in the shower and by the next day it’s completely dry. It makes my skin really soft too!”

“I enjoyed the Kutting Weight Boot Camp and I loved meeting early mornings to stretch and run, and sweat. When I first joined the class, and it came time to run with the group, I was embarrassed how out of shape I was by placing last. For the next weeks, the workout got easier for me, and I found out that I could run up the stairs back to my apartment without running out of breath. And when it came the time to wear the Kutting Weight Suit, I was excited because I never tried anything like that before. I was surprised, after each class and wearing the suit, when I would get back home, and take it off, to find the drenched wet undergarments, and little by little, each time I wore it, my waist seemed to get thinner and thinner. I did loose a lot of body water with the suit and I would refresh my body by putting it back, drinking clean water each day.
I noticed a change in my mood, my attitude, and my physical look. I feel happier, I'm ready to conquer anything each day, and my body is harder and thinner all over.
I must say that I sleep like a baby also. And by morning, after the body is all rested, the muscles are starting to feel sore, and it craves more clean water. What's interesting is that by working out with a group of people, my body doesn't crave junk food anymore. I haven't craved soda since I started this boot camp, the body, surprisingly asks for water. And also, I love working out in a group. It pushes me to keep up. Most important in the workout for me was the stretching. It really cleansed the body and I learned how important it is to work with a partner. It made it real, because if I were to do it alone, the Ego would dominate the whole experience and either not do it intensively enough, or force my body. With a partner, we worked together, and we encouraged each other with the understanding and communication between us. It was wonderful.
The running got rid of the heaviness in the body, when my behind used to jiggle and was too big for me to keep up with the others. The Kutting Weight Suit accelerated it, making me sweat 20 times faster than what I would normally do. I like my suit and I will wear it every time work out.”

“I liked the fact that we gradually worked our way up to more challenging workouts as the weeks progressed, instead of overpowering us with strenuous workouts in the beginning. The times were flexible enough to allow the morning person or the night person to get a great workout. Fortunately for me, I can workout anytime of the day.
I liked the timed challenges the best, I felt like I pushed myself the most, because in my mind it felt like a competition and I had to be in first place, so I had to push so hard until I was out of breath. “I really enjoyed the class. It's great to go work out, get results, and feel welcome. Dustin is a great trainer and I really felt like he cared about our results. He made working out fun. One of my favorite things was playing games for workouts, like tag and football. I even liked the assessment day when we did burpees, push-ups, sit-ups, and jumping lunges. The time went by quickly. The suit is great for outdoor exercise when it is cold. I used to hate, hate, hate sweating so much that it prevented me from working out too hard. “Before I began Dustin's program I was depressed and in the worst shape of my life! I hated the way I ate, I hated the way I felt, I hated the way I looked and most of all I hated not having the confidence I had in my early twenties as a collegiate athlete. I had gained 30lbs over the last three years and was letting myself go downhill at a very fast pace. In the back of my mind I knew if I didn't make a change soon my weight gain would have gotten totally out of control. Luckily my wife and I found Dustin's class when we did!
When I first heard the class involved wearing a neoprene sweat suite I was a little skeptical but after the first day of working out in it I was a true believer! I had never sweated more in my entire life. The class combines cardiovascular and strength training together in an hour workout three days a week and like I told Dustin during the second week, "this is the best workout I've had in fifteen years!" He makes it fun so you enjoy the class! When a few of my friends found out the class incorporated the rubber band cords into workout for strength training they laughed but let me tell you as a guy who once benched press 285lbs those rubber bands are no joke… I will confess that even I have made fun of my wife in the past for using the bands in her workouts, but I was so sore the day after my first workout with the bands I can promise you I will never make fun of them or her again! I'm turning 35 this month and now is the perfect time for me to reclaim my health... As I’m learning it gets harder to get back in shape the older you get. I love the suit!!! I've never sweated so much in my Life!! Kara and I will most likely sign up for the next class as well!! We may have a few friends who are interested.
You can totally tell Dustin has an athletic background and knows what he's talking about. His advice and class has put the umph back in my life, as I now love working out again.
